Lorsque Mode est obligé d'abandonner son exceptionnelle séance photos du numéro de Noël parce qu'un autre magazine leur a piqué l'idée, Betty (contre toute attente) forme une alliance avec Marc et Amanda. Tous trois ont peur d'avoir pu eux-même dévoiler l'idée du projet à leur concurent durant un banquet.
Ce même jour, Justin, le neveu de Betty, passe une journée chez Mode pour un projet de classe.
